Weddings at the Canaan Street Lake Inn

A classic 20,000 square foot, historic Greek Revival, the Canaan Street Lake Inn provides the perfect back-drop for couples looking for something a little more grand for their tented outdoor receptions. Perfect for the discerning couple with a small or large guest list, the two acres of lush lawns are framed by mature trees that stun in the summer or fall. A walking path on the property leads to the beautiful Canaan St. Lake allowing for amazing pictures on the water. The sprawling two acre property is situated on historic Canaan St. in Canaan, NH which is lined with beautifully preserved country estates. Couples can hold their wedding ceremonies on property or in one of the multiple historic churches on the street.

We are excited to offer full use of the property and exterior porches for weddings and events summer and fall (2024) while we conduct a massive restoration project on the interior of the Inn. Once completed we will provide a full offering of indoor event spaces and luxury suite accommodations. 

We are offering the property at a discounted fee for the summer and fall of 2024 during renovation. All interior renovation will be conducted during the week allowing for the peaceful and exclusive use of the property for weekend events. Couples may create a completely bespoke event, choosing their own vendors for tents (we can accommodate any size tent on our grassy lawn), chairs, tables, catering, and portable bathroom facilities. We provide the outdoor event space, parking for up to 50 cars, power, and water. It should go without saying, but we believe that love is love and all are welcome to celebrate love here.

Wedding Weekend Rates:

Wedding parties are provided with the full use of the property for two nights, Friday at 2:00pm until Sunday at 2:00pm. The “Wedding Weekend” is designed to allow for the unhurried preparation and enjoyment of your special day. It further allows you to maximize your tent and rentals for the rehearsal dinner and a day after brunch should you choose to. The wedding weekend rate is $5000.00 with additional hours available at a rate of $100.00 per hour. A fifty percent non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking and the balance is due 14 days prior to your event. Please contact us for summer and fall 2024 availability.
